Potrivit clasific\u0103rii Agen\u021biei Interna\u021bionale pentru Cercetarea Cancerului (IARC), organismul Organiza\u021biei Mondiale a S\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii care evalueaz\u0103 substan\u021bele cancerigene, NNK este catalogat\u0103 drept carcinogen de Grupa 1 (\u201ecarcinogen dovedit la om&#8221;), aceea\u0219i categorie \u00een care se afl\u0103 \u0219i fumul de tutun \u00een ansamblu.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Pentru a \u00een\u021belege gravitatea prezen\u021bei NNK \u0219i a metabolitului s\u0103u NNAL, trebuie men\u021bionat un detaliu biochimic esen\u021bial: aceste nitrozamine nu exist\u0103 \u00een frunza verde de tutun \u00een cantit\u0103\u021bi semnificative. Studiul nu spune nimic despre starea pl\u0103m\u00e2nilor la cinci sau zece ani distan\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\">Specificitate a dispozitivului: rezultatele sunt valabile pentru dispozitive pod cu nicotin\u0103 salt, nu se generalizeaz\u0103 automat la toate tipurile de \u021big\u0103ri electronice.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\">Finan\u021bare public\u0103 \u0219i reglementare: studiul a fost finan\u021bat exclusiv de National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), National Cancer Institute (NCI) \u0219i Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Penn State este unul dintre centrele TCORS (Tobacco Centers of Regulatory Science) desemnate de FDA \u0219i NIH.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19\">Finan\u021barea public\u0103 a acestui trial este un detaliu fundamental pentru validitatea sa \u0219tiin\u021bific\u0103.
